Are Artist Intros the new Openers?

Have you ever wondered when you listen to the radio, how an artist got to where they are now? Katy Perry, P!nk, Kings of Leon, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and the like all started somewhere just like you and I!

You can take a quick google before bed if you’re that interested, but one thing about Ash London Live is that we take a different approach to programming. Instead of hearing an artist say their name with a bed, we take the listener on a musical journey where they get to experience the highlights which led to their fame and glory, through an artist intro.

Production is so important when it comes to radio, and this is just one of the many reasons why. It can craft a story and relay it in such a way, that a listener can walk away and think, geez that’s interesting.
